RT is currently working with Paradigm and Taylor French to redesign an existing scheme delivering 44 new homes for affordable rent.

The site forms part of a larger masterplan and is one of the first sites to come forward and is therefore constrained by future road widening plans and new development on the remain three sides. 

Reworking the design to achieve efficiency in core circulation layouts, a coherent fire escape strategy and energy strategy was key to making this design viable.  New cores, an alternative CfSH L5 compliant energy strategy combined with significant improvements to the entrance and approach to flats and the incorporation of GLA's space standards means that the building is ready to go on site.
