Lewis Close

Southgate

Constrained and ‘backland’, the site was an unused parcel of over-grown land. The Diocese sought to realise their asset and bring forward some much needed housing.

The proposed designs responds to the close proximity of existing neighbours as well as the proposed adjacencies. Windows are located to avoid overlooking whilst others are hidden behind a veil of hit and miss brickwork.

Two options have been developed to either include for 2 four bedroom family houses or an entirely flatted development of one or two bedroom apartments.
